Ah... it reminds me of “the good old days” of when I was young and it was common to hear people having to try multiple times when starting their carburetted cars and then having to let them run for a bit before they were driveable.

I remember my Torino absolutely hated firing up... Took at least 5 times to fire up, but then she was good. My Trans Am, however, needs ~5 minutes after starting, otherwise if you put in drive she usually dies...
This has me excited for the Dual Torino action we’re about to have here in KC :D we should totally get some good shots when I get her.

Bleh. Just slap an aftermarket manual choke carb on there. Perfect starts every time, even in the middle of winter.
